Sewing Projector Ceiling Mount Installation Instructions:

Video steps of installing custom printed mount.
  1. Add friction foam to mount (Optional): Remove the backing from the foam piece and attach on the inside of the mount around the knob hole. The foam should be between the mount and projector, not on the knob side.
  2. Determine mount placement: Place the projector on the mount, plug in, and turn it on.
  3. Mark mount screw location: Hold the projector and mount in the location that you want to place it. Mark the placement of the mount and screw holes. You may need to remove the projector before marking the screw holes. Check for a stud.
  4. Insert drywall anchors: Insert the drywall anchors into the ceiling where you marked in the previous step. You can skip the drywall anchors if you are mounting directly into a stud.
  5. Attach mount to ceiling with screws: If you haven’t already, detach the projector from the mount. Place the mount lined up with the drywall anchors, insert the screws with the washers placed between the screw and mount. If you are mounting directly into a stud, drill an appropriate size hole for a #8 screw before screwing the mount into the ceiling.
  6. Attach the projector: Finally, reattach the projector to the mount and plug it in.
  7. Calibrate for Sewing: Now you are ready to calibrate your sewing projector!
